The Mosin Nagant was the standard Russian and later Soviet long arm of both world wars. The Mosin was produced in number north of 37 million. Millions of these rifles have been imported as surplus into the USA.
Pros - The thing is a beast, and I can skewer anything with the bayonet
Cons - it's old.
Would You Recommend This Gun?:
I bought the Mosin for $50 off a buddy who needed the cash. I affectionately call it the beast. In case I can't hit anything with the beast, which is rare, I can always stab it with the massive bayonet that came with it.
I can't imagine how the Russian ran around with this thing fighting the nazis, it's as tall as I am.
Another plus, if I run out of ammo, I can use it as a club.
