The Japanese Type 38 rifle was introduced in 1906, and was the standard service rifle of the Japanese Military during the first world war, and saw extensive service during the Sino-Japanese War and World War II. The rifle is chambered in 6.5Ă—50mm Arisaka and utilizes a 5 round stripper clip and sword bayonet. Many type 38s were brought back to the US by servicemen returning from the Pacific Theatre of Operations.
